Expect Street Closures In Parts Of Central Phoenix From Fiesta Bowl Parade

Residents of Central Phoenix will want to consider alternate routes for the area starting Friday evening. Saturday’s Fiesta Bowl Parade route will cut through nearly two miles of major roadways.

If you live in and around the north central corridor, you’ve already seen the metal barricades lining stretches of Central Avenue. As organizers prepare for Saturday’s Fiesta Bowl parade, which starts at 11 a.m., street closures are going into effect Friday.

Some key closures include Central Avenue from Maryland to Missouri Avenues; Bethany Home Road from Seventh Street to Seventh Avenue; Seventh Street from Camelback to Indian School Roads; and Camelback Road from Seventh Avenue to 16th Street. Some streets will reopen to normal traffic around 4 p.m., Saturday. Visit the City of Phoenix Website to get the complete list of street closures.
