Snow is falling in northern Arizona and there’s the possibility that parts of the Valley might see a smattering of snow.
"By this evening temperatures are going to go down pretty markedly, it’s going to be cold," said Ken Waters with the National Weather Service. "And if there are any leftover showers, then yes, we might get a few snow showers just in those higher elevations like cave Creek and Carefree, those type of areas."
As for the rest of the Valley, Waters says snow is unlikely. Flagstaff is expected to see anywhere between nine and 13 inches of snow, while in southeastern Arizona, snow accumulations are expected above 5,000 feet.
