Black Life Matters Conference In Tucson Focuses On Solutions For Racial State Violence

Today marks the start of a conference in Tucson called Black Life Matters.

Organizers said it’s the result of a Facebook conversation and aims to figure out what can be done about racialized state violence. Matice Moore is Program Director for African-American Student Affairs at the University of Arizona, which is hosting the conference.

The Black Life Matters conference runs through Sunday at the UofA.
