McCain Surprised After Romney Bows Out

Arizona Sen. John McCain says he’s a little surprised former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney is not running for president next year.  He said he thinks Romney seriously considered another presidential bid but decided it was not in his best interest.

And, the Arizona Senator told CNN’s "State of the Union" on Sunday, he supports South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham for the GOP nomination,

“There’s no one in American that knows better than Lindsey Graham about the threats to this country and his knowledge and depth on national security are unmatched by anyone,” McCain said.

And, McCain says he thinks Graham has a shot at winning because he’ll be good in the debates and McCain believes Graham will shine in the town hall meetings in New Hampshire .
