The Town Of Tubac Adopts New Currency To Attract Visitors

The Southern Arizona town of Tubac has started using a new currency.

Well, it’s actually an old currency. It’s not meant to replace dollars, but it is meant to attract visitors and attention to the town, which bills itself as a place “where history and art meet.”

Ivan Drechsler owns the Tubac Country Inn and said the new currency went into circulation a few weeks ago.
