Last season, the Phoenix Suns were a pleasant surprise for anyone who follows the team. The roster had some up-and-coming players and a lot of unknowns, along with a new general manager and coaching staff. The Suns didn’t make the playoffs, but they did win an impressive 48 games.
This season’s pace is a little slower than that, but they’re in the playoff hunt and would be the Western Conference’s 8th seed if the season ended today, which it doesn’t of course.
So why are Suns fans so angst-ridden and feeling snakebit?
