Temperatures Predicted To Remain Above Normal

Over the next few days, temperatures are expected to be warmer than average. That's 84 degrees Friday, and 87 degrees Saturday. The average for this time of year should be in the 70s.

Can we expect a return to average temperatures before the real warm up begins? Ken Waters is with the National Weather Service.

"Right now, we do have projects that are saying at least the next couple months are going to be warmer than normal," Waters said.

But Waters said the models are also predicting above-normal precipitation levels, which he says is very good thing as the fire season of May and June approaches.
