Federal Magistrate Judge David K. Duncan is considering whether to approve a settlement in Parsons v. Ryan. It's a class action suit that was filed on behalf of about 34,000 prisoners in Arizona's state-run prisons who have been impacted by systemic deficiencies in how health care is provided in those facilities.
