The world of theater is typically considered to be one that’s open to new ideas, creativity and both males and females.
But the Valley-based Bridge Initiative got started in order to shine the spotlight on the fact that women aren’t getting the same opportunities on stage or behind the scenes that men are.
Brenda Jean Foley is a co-founder of the Bridge Initiative, which will hold its first public discussion on Sunday afternoon at Mesa Encore Theatre’s Black Box.
