A piece of the Super Bowl will be sticking around. Fans of Super Bowl Central are familiar with the Grand Canyon Experience, a 30-foot tall and 100-foot high rock-climbing wall.
Post Super Bowl, the structure was donated to the city and plans have now begun to relocate it to Margaret T. Hance Park in Phoenix. Gregg Bach with Phoenix Parks and Recreation said details are still being worked out.
"Wherever that lands, it’s going to really be a neat facility and something that people will be able to use for recreational purposes," said Bach. "I think it will have a purpose to be able to use for training purposes as well as for mountain rescues and things like that."
Bach said the master plan for the park would start with the rock wall and then move onto other elements to improve and transform it.
