Howie Fischer On The Latest From Governor Ducey's Budget Proposal

The budget proposal hashed out by Governor Doug Ducey and GOP leaders in the state legislature remains a fluid situation Friday afternoon at the capitol.

The House and Senate Appropriations Committees both approved the package of bills yesterday and leaders had planned to have the full chambers vote on the budget today or tomorrow. And, while there appears to be bipartisan concern about aspects of the spending plan, Ducey said this morning he feels good about the budget.

Legislative leaders are still planning budget work today, but when that’ll happen appears to be anyone’s guess.

Joining us now with the latest from the capitol is Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
