Chicago Cubs pitcher Edwin Jackson missed his spring training start against the Oakland A’s Tuesday because he drove to the wrong stadium.
Jackson says he was directed to Phoenix Municipal Stadium by an app on his phone. However, the A’s now play in Hohokom Staduim, previously home to the Cubs.
Jackson eventually took the mound in the second inning. The Cubs lost 14-2.
