Despite their utilitarian design and wobbly wheels, consumers tend to hold on to them longer than they should.
Like a sheep that’s strayed from the flock, you may have seen them abandoned in alleys, on the side of busy streets or even over turned in a wash.
But there’s actually someone whose job it is to wrangle those carts and keep them in line.
Dan Tennessen is the director of Arizona Cart Services.
Since 2002, his business has been handling shopping cart retrieval for major Arizona shopping centers.
