UA Grant Encourages Recruiting American Indians Into Medical Careers

The University of Arizona College of Medicine’s Native American Research and Training Center has gotten a $975,000 grant from the Indian Health Service to recruit more American Indians into medicine and healthcare careers. It was one of two university-based grants awarded by IHS.

Teshia Solomon is the Director of the Native American Research and Training Center at the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
