The Los Angeles Angels play the Seattle Mariners at Tempe Diablo Stadium.

The Cactus League doesn’t officially wrap up its season until tomorrow, but it has already set an attendance record.

League President Mark Coronado said more than 1.76 million fans have already attended a Cactus League game.

“I think what’s most impressive about the record this year is that in 2013 we had 37 game dates, where this year we’ll have a collective 32 game dates,” Coronado said.

Coronado said the Cubs were the attendance leaders, once again, with an average 14,000 to 15,000 fans packing Sloan Park per game.
