The Arizona Latino Arts and Cultural Center in Phoenix is hosting a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian called “ American Sabor: Latinos in U.S. Popular Music.”
It opened last week and explores the way Latinos have influenced and shaped American musical culture.
Shannon Dudley is an Ethnomusicologist at the University of Washington and one of the exhibit’s co-curators.
