The Musical Instrument Museum is celebrating its fifth anniversary. The north Phoenix museum has more than 6,000 instruments from around 200 countries and includes a theater.
April Salomon took over as executive director toward the end of last year, although she joined MIM in 2007. She’s gone from the sixth person hired to the most-tenured staffer there.
