Arizona Board Of Regents To Consider Lower Tuition Rate For Some Undocumented Students

The Arizona Board of Regents is considering a new tuition rate for certain undocumented students.

The proposal would allow DREAMers to pay a tuition rate that’s 150 percent of what in-state students pay.  Right now they pay out-of-state tuition.

At Arizona State University for example, that’s around $24,000 a year, which is about 240 percent more than the instate rate.

The proposal will be discussed at the Board of Regents meeting May 4.
