Abusive marriages and domestic violence aren’t topics that are typically entertaining. They’re also unlikely to induce side-splitting laughter.
That’s one of the challenges for writer and performer Laurel Ann Porter, who just completed her Ph.D. at ASU.
Her one-woman show, "How Not to Make Love to a Woman," attempts to find comedy in the pain of the relationship with her former husband.
