State education officials said special education teachers and providers in Flagstaff must receive more training or risk losing their federal funding.
The Arizona Daily Sun reported an Arizona Department of Education investigation found the Flagstaff Unified School District had not been following parts of the federal Individuals with Disabilities Education act.
The call for training is focused on the DeMiguel Elementary school. District officials say they will comply with the state’s orders.
