Earlier this week, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art named new interim director Sara Cochran, who had been associate director. Cochran had previously been curator of modern and contemporary art at the Phoenix Art Museum.
We talked about the challenges in reaching her goals for contemporary art in the Valley and how different arts organizations should collaborate and cooperate going forward.
