Fischer: Ducey Summit A 'Pep Rally' For Selling Arizona As Place For Business

Gov. Doug Ducey hosted what his office called a leadership summit at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale.  The event included a panel discussion on education and talks by pollster Frank Luntz and others.

Daniel Scarpinato, the governor’s spokesman, said Ducey sees the summit as a chance to talk about how to make Arizona the ideal place to live, open a business, get an education and retire, among other things.

Scarpinato said the governor expected the discussions to be candid and for there to be differences of opinion.

For more on what the event is all about, we spoke with Howie Fischer of Capitol Media Services.
