Phoenix Mosque, Muslim Community Deal With Backlash After Texas Shooting

Shortly after a shooting earlier this month at an event featuring cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed in Garland, Texas, authorities determined the two suspects had attended a mosque in Phoenix.

After that, the Islamic Community Center of Phoenix received nasty emails and saw a drop in attendance at Friday services. The center also increased its security.

For more on the response to this incident, we turn to Salam Al-Marayati, president of the Muslim Public Affairs Council.
