New Research Finds Temperatures In The West May Have Impact On Energy Generation

Scientists have identified a lot of potential impacts of climate change, but new research suggests there’s one that the American West specifically has to prepared for: increased demand for electricity.

The research, published in the journal Nature Climate Change, says warmer temperatures could put more of a strain on energy generation in the West.

Matt Bartos is a Research Scientist in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at ASU and one of the authors of the paper.
