A movie about the Granite Mountain Hotshots is still in the works, even though the film’s original director is no longer with the project.

According to the Prescott Daily Courier, "Transformers" producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and "Black Hawk Down" screenwriter Ken Nolan are still working on the movie.

Nineteen of the 20-man hotshot crew died in the 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire.

The sole survivor of the fire is scheduled to be deposed tomorrow in Phoenix.
