It’s time to head to another Valley hot corner: spots with a lot going on.
Our tour guide is Gwen Ashley Walters, a food journalist for Phoenix Magazine, and we met on the corner of Roosevelt and Central Avenue in Phoenix.
"The building is not new, but what’s inside, it’s called DeSoto Central Market," Walters said.
The building itself dates to the 1920s and in its early days was a DeSoto dealership. But now, instead of cars, you’d go there to shop for food and drink.
