Several thousand zombies are expected to take over the streets of downtown Phoenix tonight. Zombie Walk 7 will begin at dusk taking off from the Phoenix Convention Center.
Samantha Jackson with Downtown Phoenix Inc. said the zombies will only cause minor traffic delays on the 1.5-mile route.
“The streets will only close once the zombie horde sort of gets close to that area. So, traffic will be maintained until the zombies are in that area,” Jackson said.
Jackson said to expect traffic as zombies move slowly. The city will begin closing streets around 7:00 p.m. and the walk is expected to begin at 7:30 p.m.
