Wallace And Ladmo Show

Even if you didn’t spend your formative years in Arizona, you’ve probably heard someone mention "Wallace and Ladmo."

It was a kids’ TV show, but it was more than that. There was subversive humor and characters that included a senior citizen whose bedtime stories took unsettling turns and a superhero who was anything but.

"Wallace and Ladmo" went off the air in 1989, but it’s alive again on stage beginning June 5 in Scottsdale.

Ben Tyler is the writer and director of the production, which focuses on the unexpected national popularity of the not-so-real rock band called Hub Kapp and the Wheels, fronted by cast member Pat McMahon.
