Police Look Into Video Of Boy Driving On Phoenix Streets

PHOENIX  — Phoenix police are looking into a video that shows a boy driving a car with an adult in the passenger seat.

Police spokesman Vince Lewis said Saturday investigators are looking at the video, which was uploaded to YouTube earlier in the week.

In the video, the boy is behind the wheel of an SUV stopped at McDowell Road and 16th Street.

A man is seen sitting in the front seat and two passengers are in the back.

The person recording the video can be heard yelling at them from his car, saying they could get someone killed.

Lewis said allowing an unauthorized minor to drive is a misdemeanor and the man in the video could be cited.

As of Monday, the video had gathered more than 138,000 views.
