The Major League Baseball draft ended yesterday — 40 rounds and around 1,200 players later.
The Diamondbacks had the first overall pick, but the team wasn’t Arizona’s only representation in the three-day event. According to MLB, more players who went to either high school or college here have been drafted than those from all but four other states.
