Phoenix has hired a new Director of Equal Opportunity and his name may be a familiar one to Valley residents.
Don Logan has held similar positions in Glendale and Scottsdale. It was while doing that job in 2004 that he received and opened a mail bomb, injuring him and other city employees.
Logan starts his new job at the end of the month, which includes investigations and monitoring compliance as well as working with small and disadvantaged businesses.
