Layoffs are coming to PetSmart headquarters and employees affected will be notified Wednesday.
Spokesperson Michelle Friedman said this is part of the company’s plan to invest in other areas and gain efficiency for the company’s growth.
"This is only 15 percent of home office positions, so those would be positions in our headquarters," Friedman said.
Friedman said the layoffs are not expected to affect employees at the company’s retail stores.
