Speed Enforcement Camera Company CEO Allegedly Bribed Public Officials

Controversy always seemed to surround the speed-enforcement cameras around the Valley.

Some people thought they made the 101 freeway in the east Valley safer because at least a few drivers would slow down to avoid getting photographed breaking the speed limit by at least 11 miles an hour.

Critics were convinced the cameras didn't allow violators to confront their accusers and they also thought it was a money grab. But the true money grab was allegedly being done by some officials in Illinois and Ohio.
