Tonight, a new exhibit opens in Glendale called “Stronger than Steel.” It features photos of officers from the Glendale police and fire departments, as well as the U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Marshals and some smaller agencies from Southern Arizona.

Photographer Roni Ziemba has been taking photos of law enforcement and fire departments for a few years.

“Stronger than Steel” will be up for a few weeks at Gallery Glendale in Westgate. It’s funded through a Glendale public arts grant.
