Why Arizona Is Seeing An Early Lightning Season

The past few nights have featured some pretty spectacular light shows in the Valley with bolts of lightning crackling.

Ron Holle is a meteorologist based in Tucson where he works for the Finnish firm Vaisala. He said Arizona’s “lightning season” generally only lasts about two months, but usually doesn’t start this early.
