Tempe City Council To Consider Proposal For Public Campaign Finance System

The Tempe City Council next month is likely to consider a proposal to implement a public campaign finance system for the city.

If the council approves it, Tempe voters would see the issue on the ballot, possibly this coming March.

Councilman David Schapira is behind the proposal, which is based on Arizona’s Clean Elections system.
