Sustainability isn’t a word usually associated with professional sports or college athletic programs, especially when it comes to the length of careers.
But a number of large schools — in fact, all of those in the Pac-12 Conference — are working to be more sustainable by reducing their carbon footprint and improving their environmental performance.
Arizona State University is heavily involved in that effort. We talked with ASU’s Pete Wozniak, manager of the university’s athletic facilities.
