Economic development is a point of focus for most, if not all, communities across the country. But for the Valley perhaps even more so, especially following the great recession when the area’s reliance on construction and real estate made it seem as though we simply didn’t have enough economic diversity.
Velocity was developed by the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Policy Program in tandem with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
