Democratic Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders is making a stop in Phoenix and interest in his campaign has prompted a change in venue.
The Vermont senator will be holding two events in Phoenix on Saturday. One of those events was a rally originally scheduled to be held at Comerica Theater in Downtown Phoenix which seats 5,000 people.
However, members of the Sanders campaign said higher-than-expected attendance for the event has caused them to move the location to the Phoenix Convention Center. A town hall-style meeting will be held earlier in the day, also at the convention center.
