When you think about the Valley, is there a specific place you think of? A place that exemplifies your image of our desert home?
That’s a question we’re posing in a new, occasional series we’re calling “In a Place.” We’ll be asking architects about what gives them a sense of place for the Valley.
We start with Diane Jacobs. She’s is an architect with Holly Street Studio in Phoenix. We met on what used to be the leading dock of the former Post Office, now student center for ASU downtown on Central Avenue and Fillmore Street in downtown Phoenix.
