Kids Count Report: Arizona Ranks 46th In Child Well-Being

Numbers released Tuesday as part of the annual Kids Count Data Book rank Arizona 46th in the country in a series of categories measuring conditions for kids — that’s the same spot Arizona was in last year.

The Annie E. Casey Foundation report looks at areas including the percentage of children in poverty, reading below grade level and graduating high school.

We talked to Dana Naimark, president and CEO of Children’s Action Alliance, for her reaction on the report.
