Arizona is now the only state that will limit the lifetime eligibility requirements for families who receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) support for one year. The federal government allows up to five years of support before it gets cut off.
The Morrison Institute for Public Policy at ASU issued a report earlier this summer titled "TANF Cuts: Is Arizona Shortsighted in its Dwindling Support for Poor Families?"
We talked about the report with Morrison Director Thom Reilly.
