The Arizona doctor who criticized the use of vaccines earlier this year faced the possibility of losing his license to practice after complaints were made about his very public stance. But the Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners voted to let Dr. Jack Wolfson keep his license.
Thirty-eight people filed formal complaints against Wolfson after he said people should get measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox instead of getting the vaccines on TV and in newspapers.
At their board meeting, members expressed concern with the way Wolfson shared his opinion, but they said it was his First Amendment right to do so.
In a 4-to-1 vote, the board determined Wolfson did nothing wrong and no statute was violated.
