Starting July 30, the intersection at 19th and Glendale avenues will be closed as light-rail train tracks are installed.
Businesses in the area will be open, but drivers may have to go out a little out of their way to reach them.
"So, for those travelling westbound and westbound on Glendale Avenue, they’ll actually be forced to make a right hand turn onto 19th Avenue and then there will be U-turns on 19th Avenue," said Corinne Holiday of Valley Metro.
The Glendale intersection will reopen Aug. 3. The Northwest Expansion of the light rail is scheduled to be completed in spring 2016.
