How Arizona Companies May Fare In Competition For Cuban Market

The thawing relations between the United States and Cuba has American businesses thinking about the potential of that new market.

We wanted to find out how Arizona companies may fare in that competition, so we called Arnold Maltz — he’s an associate professor in supply chain management at the ASU’s Carey School of Business.

The renewed ties between the U.S. and Cuba are impacting another area at ASU. The school is proposing two study abroad programs to the island; one for spring break, 2016, and one for next summer.

Adam Henry, who directs ASU’s Study Abroad Office, talked about how long have these plans been in the works.
