Wild horses in the Tonto National Forest were on the verge of not being wild any longer.
The U.S. Forest Service had announced plans to remove nearly 100 horses starting this weekend, labeling them unauthorized livestock. But once a passionate group of protesters got involved and U.S. Senators Jeff Flake and John McCain voiced their concerns, the Forest Service pulled on the reins and said it will delay the process for at least a month.
