Grand Canyon Visitation Up 25 Percent This Year

More people are visiting the Grand Canyon. National Park Service Officials are reporting a 25 percent increase in visitors from last year.

The Arizona Daily Sun reported that translates into an additional 250,000 cars entering the park since January.

Park managers say several factors have led to the sharp increase, including a more aggressive advertising campaign and low gas prices.
