The Tohono O’odham Nation wants a federal judge to rule on whether Gov. Doug Ducey and Attorney General Mark Brnovich were active participants in an effort to block the opening of their casino near Glendale.
Ducey and Brnovich claim they were just offering advice to the state gaming director when they wrote to him telling him to stop the casino from being built.
The tribe claims days after the gaming director met with Ducey and Brnovich, he rejected the casino’s plans.
