Artist Installs A Virtual Reality Sculpture Exhibit In The Middle Of The Arizona Desert

Street artists tend to do their work in the street, where people can see it. But for Australian-born and Brooklyn-based street artist Jamie Toll, the “street” for one of his exhibits was the middle of the Arizona desert near the border, specifically picked for its remoteness.

Toll put up three, 20-foot sculptures of a metal bear trap, a frying egg and a melting globe. He took a bunch of photos of them and turned the whole thing into a virtual reality experience.

Virtual Borders Arizona is now available as a mobile app.
