The Arizona Diamondbacks lost to the St. Louis Cardinals last night 3-1, but not without first hitting one of the longest home runs recorded this season.
The Diamondbacks’ one run came from first baseman Paul Goldschmidt when he hit a blast that ESPN said went 482 feet.
That makes it the second-longest homer in the National League this season. It is only exceeded by the two 484-foot homers the sports network said were hit by the Miami Marlins’ Giancarlo Stanton.
